During a Jan. 5 appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Cher admitted that she thinks his wife and her former co-star, Kristen Bell, could do better than him.
Dax didn't necessarily disagree with the "Believe" powerhouse, and even went as far as to ask her who she thinks Kristen should be with instead.
The podcast host officially responded to Cher's claims at the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11.

After she insinuated that her formerBurlesqueco-star "sees something" in Dax that she doesn't on hisArmchair Expertpodcast, he issued an official response at theGolden Globeson Sunday, January 11.
"We thought it was hilarious, which is why we posted it," Dax toldEntertainment Tonightof the confession on the red carpet. He then joked that his wife had "listened and I got served divorce papers last week."
Of course, he kept the bit going, as he and Kristen attended the Globes for their respected nominations in the Best Podcast and Best Female Actor in a Television Series, Musical/Comedy categories.
"So, I'm hoping I don't see her," Dax joked about Kristen. "Is she here? Just keep us apart 'cause the ink's not even dried."
In case you missed the entire moment that even prompted Dax's Golden Globes response, he and Cher discussed his marriage with Kristen during her guest appearance on the January 5 episode ofArmchair Expert.
"Who would be your dream partner for her? 'Cause I know you think she could be better, and I don't disagree," Dax asked Cher.
Before she playfully clocked Dax on his own pod, Cher admitted, "The truth is, I trust her. So, you must have something that I don't see."
The pop culture icon then considered Dax and Kristen's kids, Delta and Lincoln, adding, "And you seem like a good dad."
He then attempted to explain his appeal to Cher, suggesting that he celebrates Kristen's accomplishments.
"I'm not threatened by her shining. I love it. The shinier she gets, the better," he shared, as theNobody Wants Thisactor chimed in to praise him.
"There's a lot to this man," Kristen said. "Trust me, he's a slow burn, but you're gonna learn to love him. He's almost too good for me."
She went on to say her husband of 12 years is the kind of partner who "polishes you so you shine more."
We simply couldn't love this more for Kristen and Dax (and we hope Cher is on the same page).
