Dolly Parton's Latest Post Draws Attention After Unfortunate 80th Birthday News

Dolly Partonreceived an outpouring of love and support as themusicicon updated her social media.

The award-winning singer has been active on Instagram, posting announcements and heartfelt messages to keep fans updated.

However, her latest post sparked warm and affectionate reactions from her followers.

In an Instagram post, Parton shared a throwback shoot of her sitting surrounded by a wall of large speakers. She also showcased her iconic voluminous layered blonde hair and posed with a sleek black guitar.

What struck her followers the most was her inspiring caption.

"I wake up with new dreams every day," she wrote.

The comment section was filled with positive reactions from fans saying how the "Jolene" star continues to inspire them.

In addition, fans sent the Country Music Hall of Famer well-wishes after hearing about her health update.

"Hope you are keeping well, girl," a follower said.

A fan also left a message saying, "We love you,butterfly, may your heart continue to heal."

For the past year, the "9 to 5" singer has made changes to her planned shows due to health issues, from postponing her Las Vegas residency to, most recently, her planned 80thbirthday.

It can be recalled that the 11-time Grammy winnerannouncedthe delay of herDecembershow at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace because of "a few procedures" to deal with ongoing "health challenges."

"I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say," she posted on Instagram, adding, "And don't worry about me quitting the business because God hasn't said anything about stopping yet."

The rescheduled dates for the Las Vegas residency were set for September 2026.

Meanwhile, Parton recently confirmed that she will beskipping the 80th birthday celebration concertat the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Jan. 17, due to ongoing health challenges.

"Well, hey there Grand Ole Opryfamily," she said in a video. "I just wanted to say how much it means to me that you're all coming together again this year to celebrate my big ol' birthday with some of my songs. Some of my favorite memories happened right here on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, and I wish I could be there in person, but I'll be sending you all my love, for sure."

Although the iconic singerpreviously emphasizedthat she is not seriously ill or retiring, Parton is continuing treatment and taking time to recover as advised by her doctors.
