Speaking toE! Live from the Red Carpetat the 2026Golden Globe Awardson Sunday, Jan. 11, the actress, 55, namedGood Will HuntingcostarMatt Damonas one of her all-time favorite collaborators.
"I've got to say Matt andBen [Affleck]were pretty fun when they were just getting going, raring to go, just kids," said the Oscar nominee.
"I've been very lucky, very fortunate," said Driver of her former costars, shouting out herGrosse Pointe BlankcostarJohn Cusackas "incredibly intellectually challenging and stimulating and fun."

Damon, 55, dated Driver while filming the movie; the costars split soon afterward in early 1998. The officialend of their relationshipcame when Damon denied he had a girlfriend while appearing onTheOprah WinfreyShow.

Good Will Hunting, written by Damon and Affleck and directed by Gus Van Sant, earned Academy Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor forRobin Williams' performance. Driver also earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination.
At that Oscar ceremony, Driver noted onThe Jennifer Hudson Showin 2024, she and Damon had "recently broken up… He had a new girlfriend. I wastotally heartbroken."

Asked at the time what she would tell her then-25-year-old self, she said, "I wish I could have told her, 'Honey it's cool, you can celebrate and life's gonna be great and beautiful and hard and amazing… You're going to love again, it'll be fine.' "
Driver recently hada guest role in season 5of Netflix'sEmily in Paris. The actress is mother to one son,Henry, whom she welcomed in 2008. (She has kept the father's identity private.) Since 2019, Driver has been romantically linked to filmmakerAddison O'Dea.
