A Denver-based mom captured her baby girl's heartwarming reaction to her older brother's kiss.

In a now-viralTikTok, Shelby Wold, a 32-year-old mom of two, shared her daughter Lenna's sweet reaction to the first kiss she's ever received from her 2-year-old brother Theo. The clip, which has amassed over 14 million views and nearly 3 million likes, shows the little girl, who was only 4 days old at the time, with a grumpy expression on her face as her brother leans in for the smooch.

A few seconds after the peck, the newborn slowly begins to smirk before brightly smiling at her brother's affection.

The doting mom, who shares her children with husband Matthew Wold, 33, tells PEOPLE that she originally was "worried" about his reaction to his little sister.

"He would cry a lot if I would hold a friend's baby, so I was definitely worried about his reaction to her!" she tells PEOPLE. "We got him a baby doll so he could practice feeding her and being gentle."

"I was worried that he would be upset because he wasn't getting all the attention anymore," she adds. "But since my husband has been home too, he probably gets even more attention than before."

Her worries eventually faded away during her pregnancy. Shelby tells PEOPLE that the toddler "loved touching my belly" and was excited to feel his baby sister move.

"It took him a little bit to understand what was happening, but we continued to tell him about his sister and that she was growing," the mom of two says. "We also kept telling him that one day she would be a baby we could hold."

When the couple's baby girl arrived in December, Theo quickly took on the role of big brother. Shelby recalls his sweetness continuing after her little girl's arrival, saying he "waved to her right away."

"Afterwards, he wanted to hold her, but immediately said 'all done' when she started crying," she recalls. "He also likes to check on her when she cries, and he brings me diapers and wipes for her. It's a win-win because he currently doesn't like his diaper changed, so if I'm changing her, then he says 'Theo's turn!' and gets his diaper changed too!"

Since they became a family of four, Shelby tells PEOPLE her son has been affectionate with his baby sister, who's now 4 weeks old.

"He will run over to her when she cries and just stare at her," she says. "Sometimes he tries to hold her hand or sit next to her."

Looking toward their future, the proud mom shares what part of their sibling dynamic she's excited to witness.

"I'm really excited for them to play together," Shelby tells PEOPLE. "We love traveling and doing things outside of the house, so I'm excited for Theo to have a little buddy to do those things with!"
