The thespians have spoken: "One Battle After Another" scored a record sevenActor Awardsnominations, cementing its status as an Oscar frontrunner.
Paul Thomas Anderson's acclaimed action dramedy led the field announced Jan. 7, while "Sinners" received five nods and "Hamnet" and "Marty Supreme" each nabbed three. The 32nd Actor Awards, formerly known as theScreen Actors Guild Awards, stream live on Netflix March 1(8 p.m. ET/5 PT).

Snubbed! These A-listers missed out on Actor Awards nominations
Timothée Chalamet ("Marty Supreme") will go for his second straight best actor trophy, competing in the category against Leonardo DiCaprio ("One Battle After Another"), Michael B. Jordan ("Sinners"), Ethan Hawke ("Blue Moon") and Jesse Plemons ("Bugonia"). Critics Choice winner Jessie Buckley ("Hamnet") is up for best actress with Rose Byrne ("If I Had Legs I'd Kick You"), Kate Hudson ("Song Sung Blue"), Emma Stone ("Bugonia") and Chase Infiniti ("One Battle After Another").
The supporting actor contingent includes "One Battle After Another" costars Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn, Jacob Elordi ("Frankenstein"), Paul Mescal ("Hamnet") andMiles Caton("Sinners").
Amy Madigan, who like Elordi also won Critics Choice honors, made the cut for supporting actress, a category which includes Wunmi Mosaku ("Sinners"), Teyana Taylor ("One Battle After Another"),Odessa A'zion("Marty Supreme") andAriana Grande("Wicked: For Good").
SAG's annual ceremony is an important bellwether for the upcoming Academy Awards on March 15, since actors comprise the largest voting body in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. There's often carryover between acting categories: Last year, Oscars and SAG matched four out of five nominees in best actor, best actress and supporting actor, as well as three out of five in supporting actress.
After the first movie overperformed with nominations last year, "Wicked: For Good" could only manage one Actor nod, for Grande. Othernotable snubsinclude Dwayne Johnson and the MMA drama "The Smashing Machine,"George Clooneyand his Netflix film "Jay Kelly," and "Die My Love" star Jennifer Lawrence.
Among the TV categories, Apple's "The Studio" led all shows with five nominations – including best comedy ensemble – while the Netflix limited series "Adolescence" and HBO drama "The White Lotus" each scored four total.
In addition to the competitive categories,Harrison Fordwill be feted with the 61stSAG-AFTRA life achievement award, following recent honorees Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Sally Field, Helen Mirren and Robert De Niro.
