Tensions overImmigration and Customs Enforcement actions continued to surgein Minneapolis after afederal officer shot a person in the legon Jan. 14, photos and videos from the city showed.

A man, whom the Department of Homeland Security said is a Venezuelan national living in the United States without authorization, was shot in the leg by a federal officer, a week after an ICE agent shot and killedRenee Nicole Good.

In the latest incident, DHS said the man drove away during a "targeted traffic stop" and crashed into a parked vehicle before taking off on foot around 6:50 p.m. local time. After one of the federal officers attempted to apprehend the man, two other people arrived from a nearby apartment, and all three started attacking the officer, DHS claimed.

After Good's death, protests erupted in Minneapolis amid the immigration enforcement surge ordered by PresidentDonald Trump.

A federal agent shot a person in the leg in Minneapolis on Wednesday, Jan. 14 after being assaulted during an arrest, the Department of Homeland Security said, sparking further protests in a city on edge after the deadly shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent earlier this month.
