Rosamund Pike made a rare public appearance with her 11-year-old son Atom

Rosamund Pikeand her youngest child had their game faces on during a mother-son outing this weekend.
The actress, 46, made a rare public appearance with her son, Atom, as they attended an NBA game in London on Sunday, Jan. 18.
Pike sat with her 11-year-old, watching the Memphis Grizzlies go up against the Orlando Magic at the O2. (The Tennessee-based team ended up winning 126-109.)
For the sporty outing, Pike wore an all-black ensemble of a black shirt, pants and shoes, which she paired with a large jacket in the same color. She accessorized her look with dark sunglasses.
Atom, meanwhile, cheered for the basketball game with his famous mom in a blue and white bomber jacket.

Pike shares Atom and elder son Solo with her longtime boyfriend,Robie Uniacke, whom the actress has been linked to since 2009.
Solo was born in 2012 and Atom followed in 2014, and Uniacke, a businessman, is also a dad to four children from previous relationships.

Speaking withGlamourin 2014, Pike said she attributes her career success to becoming a mom for the first time.
"You have less time to worry and overanalyze when you're a parent," the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner explained at the time, adding, "With children, you spend so much time reexperiencing the world as a child experiences it, and that has a nourishing effect on your imagination. In my job, imagination is key."

Pike often keeps her two boys out of the spotlight, but she has opened up about them in interviews on certain occasions.
During an appearance onLive with Kelly and Ryanin November 2018, theGone Girlstar said of her sons, "The good news is they are a team."
She further explained of Solo and Atom, however, "The bad news is they're quite a naughty team."
Both Pike and Solo learned Mandarin — as did their father — and they now speak it fluently.
In October 2024, Solo won the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition, according to theSouth China Morning Post. Solo, who used his Chinese name, You Zijun, won in the primary school category and was named "Future Star of Chinese," theorganizers of the competition sharedin a post on Facebook at the time.
