Lisa Kudrowis reminiscing about the studio lot that played host toFriendsfor 10 seasons.
In a video filmed forArchitectural Digest, the 62-year-old actress visited the Warner Brothers soundstage, where the sitcom was filmed.
For its first season,Friendswas filmed on a small soundstage known as Stage 5 — "right next to whereERwas shooting — so we'd hang out with them a lot," Kudrow said in theADvideo.
After its first season, when the show grew in popularity, it moved to a larger soundstage on the same lot in order to accommodate a large studio audience.
"That was Stage 24, and that's where we were for 10 years," she said.

Kudrow returned to Stage 24 to shoot the third and final season of HBO'sThe Comeback.
"So I got to finishFriends,after 10 years, and [film]The Comeback," the actress said, growing visibly emotional.

"Wasn't expecting to get emotional, sorry," she said, adding of her time shootingFriends: "After a point, we didn't leave the soundstage, even for lunch, because there were tours and things."

Elsewhere in theADvideo, Kudrow noted that the studio's future hangs in the balance as Warner Brothers is currently in negotiations to be acquired by Netflix.
"I think most people really, really hope whatever happens next is that this studio lot is preserved, as-is," she said.
Kudrow played Phoebe Buffay onFriends, which also starredJennifer Aniston,Courteney Cox,Matt LeBlanc,David SchwimmerandMatthew Perry.
Kudrow shared that she had begun watching the beloved NBC sitcom for the first time, after years of resisting, back in 2024, saying onJesse Tyler Ferguson'sDinner's on Mepodcast, "God forbid, if anyone walked into my house and saw me watching my show, I'd be mortified."
"But after Matthew passed away, there were marathons, and I wanted to watch. It felt like part of the remembering, grieving, remembering, all that, and just enjoying, and celebrating. And, boy, I appreciated everybody on it," she added.
