David Gail's reason for dying has been revealed by his mum, after he died aged 58.
The Beverly Hills 90210 actor was greatest recognized for enjoying the fiancé of Shannon Doherty's Brenda Walsh in the beloved US show and for his position as Dr Joe Scanlon within the Basic Hospital spin-off Port Charles.
His sister Katie Colmenares confirmed his dying last month, and former studies said that he died following complications from sudden cardiac arrest.
A press release from his mom Mary Painter now confirms he died from mind and coronary heart problems following a drug overdose on January 16.
'It breaks my heart to study that my son died this manner,' she stated.
'David turned reliant on drugs many years ago, after multiple surgical procedures on his palms and wrists.
'He lived in enough pain to stop him from working for almost a decade, with aid solely achieved by means of full disability, physical therapy and pain drugs.
'He struggled to cease taking prescription drugs and did before turning toward a extra Japanese pain administration together with acupuncture and natural medicines.'
