Drafted in the first spherical of the 2011 Draft, Heyward has played for the Steelers for his complete NFL profession.
A six-time Pro Bowler, he has racked up over 645 profession tackles and over 80 sacks.
Heyward acquired his award from Prince Harry, who had lately returned to the US after flying house to England.
Harry's father King Charles was recently diagnosed with cancer.
