Arne praised his 'special' Liverpool stars after the Dutchman marked his Anfield debut with a 2-0 win over Brentford yesterday. Luis Diaz opened the scoring after a slick breakaway that started with a Brentford corner. He then turned provider as he teed up Mohamed Salah for the Egyptian's second goal of the season after the break. A delighted Slot gushed over the players left by predecessor Jurgen Klopp. 'It's nice to inherit a team and individuals who are so special,' said the manager, who gave the Kop a thumbs up and a wave at the end.
