Shocking scenes as wild brawl breaks out between women's college soccer players mid-game
A women's college soccer game briefly descended into madness on Sunday as two opponents brawled with one another. Rutgers traveled to UMass for an afternoon matchup and chaos ensued after the Scarlet Knights' Gia Girman fouled an opponent from behind in the 55th minute. The UMass player's teammate, Ashley Lamond, tried to take the free kick quickly but she and Girman got tangled up as the former attempted to grab the ball.
