A foundation set up in honour of former Sheffield United footballer Maddy Cusack has raised £50,000 in just 10 months. Cusack, who was the Blades' longest serving player and their first to reach 100 appearances, died at her home in Horsley, Derbyshire, on September 20 last year. The foundation, which was set up by Cusack's family, held a special summer ball event at Derby County's Pride Park stadium on August 23.
