Jon Rahm's hopes of playing in the Ryder Cup next year are hanging by a thread after he was told by the DP World Tour on Wednesday that his fines for defecting to LIV will not be wiped away. The Spaniard had confirmed earlier in the day that he is willing to cram three European-based events into his schedule across the next six weeks in order to satisfy eligibility criteria for the match against the United States next September.
