Wesley Fofana has revealed that he contemplated leaving Chelsea during the summer transfer window. Fofana, 23, has played 90 minutes in all three of the Blues Premier League matches, so far, this season. The Frenchman has become key to new boss Enzo Maresca's defence after recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him for the totality of the 2023-24 campaign. But the centre-back has admitted that he thought about leaving Stamford Bridge amid interest from his hometown club, Marseille.
