Alex Lozowski has been handed a glorious chance to end his six-year international exile, after being included in England's training squad for a mini camp in Surrey and at Twickenham next week. The 31-year-old Saracens centre has enjoyed a superb start to the Premiership season and kicked 22 points last Saturday to help his club storm to a 45-26 win over Sale at StoneX Stadium. His call-up by Steve Borthwick raises the possibility that Lozowski could belatedly add to his tally of just five Test caps – a modest return for such a creative, experienced player.
