The former University of Virginia football player who fatally shot three Cavaliers players and wounded two other students in 2022 has pleaded guilty in the case as prosecutors have finally begun to shed light on his motives in the triple murder. Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., 25, pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated malicious wounding and five counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
