Steve Gleason was injured getting out of a van while attending a speaking event on Saturday and was rushed to a hospital. The former NFL star, who is battling ALS, is now recovering at home. The update on Gleason was given on social media by his wife, Michel, who was thankful the 'traumatic' incident was not much worse. Michel stated her husband being strapped to a wheelchair may have prevented his injuries from being much worse.
