Real Madrid hosted their General Assembly on Sunday, with club president Florentino Perez commenting on Vinicius Jr's recent Ballon d'Or snub. The Brazilian was expected to win the award until the morning of the ceremony, when it was revealed that Man City's Rodri will become the first Premier League player since Cristiano Ronaldo to take home the Ballon d'Or. Upon hearing the news, neither Perez, Vinicius Jr or any of Madrid's congregation travelled to Paris for the event, as they felt that the outcome was unjust.
