Troy Deeney has urged Ruben Amorim to brutally sack Ruud van Nistelrooy in order to begin fixing the 's***show' at Manchester United. Amorim was officially announced as the Red Devils' new head coach yesterday but will take charge at Old Trafford on November 11, allowing him to oversee Sporting Lisbon's next two matches. He has signed a contract until June 2027. Van Nistelrooy was temporarily handed the reins by United after Erik ten Hag's dismissal and he will remain in post for the next three fixtures, having already steered his side to a thumping victory against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.
