Lionel Messi has been named MLS' MVP - but fans are not happy with the league's decision to give the award to the Argentine star. Messi scored 20 goals and racked up 11 assists in his first full MLS season - but played in just 19 of 34 games (15 starts) as he missed time due to injury and international duty. And fans believe he was not on the field nearly enough for the Herons to be named the league's best player for 2024.
