Sam Kerr has broken her silence after her grandmother was struck by a ute on Friday. Coral Kerr, 89, is understood to have been stepping off a bus in the suburb of Palmyra at around 11am, when the incident took place. The driver mounted the kerb in an attempt to overtake the bus before he hit the 89-year-old. The incident took place just metres away from Coral's house. She was subsequently rushed to the Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition where she underwent surgery for a broken femur, ankle and hip.
