Formula One star Nico Hulkenberg suffered a freak eye injury in a bizarre garage incident on Wednesday. The German driver was forced to miss the post-session press conference as he needed urgent medical assistance. According to Sky Germany, a 'speck of dust or sand' got stuck in Hulkenberg's eye during the mechanics works in the team garage. It is understood that Sauber mechanics were carrying out grinding work on the C45 car before a splinter entered Hulkenberg's eye.
