Mario Lopez's look-alike middle child is following in his father's footsteps.
Speaking with PEOPLE in an exclusive conversation at the world premiere ofCirque Du Soleil LUDÕin Mexico, on Friday, Dec. 12, the actor revealed what advice he gave his 12-year-old son,Dominic Luciano, for his acting career.
"As long as he keeps straight up, works hard, stays focused and does the right thing, great things will happen," theSaved by the Bellalum, 52, recalled telling Dominic, whom he shares with his wife of 13 years,Courtney.

Thedad of threealso praised his look-alike son's burgeoning acting career at the event inside Puerto Vallarta's VidantaWorld.
"I'm very proud of him. He's doing a great job," the father gushed about Dominic. "He's done like four movies this year."
Among the film projects Dominic has worked on in the past year are Chris Dowling'sBad Counselors, a comedy set at a camp for middle schoolers, which also starsMatt Cornett,Ramon Reed,Chris KleinandMissi Pyle.
Dominic also recentlywrapped up filming scenesfor the TV filmChasing Christmas, as well as scenes for theKathy Bates-fronted dramaMatlockon CBS.

In addition to Dominic, Mario and Courtney, 43, share two other children: daughter Gia Francesca, 15, and sonSantino Rafael, 6.

In February, Mario told PEOPLE that acting has caught on in the family.
"My daughter's done stuff, but my middle son, Dominic, is really into it," he explained. "He wants to do more. People have already reached out to him. I wasn't trying to encourage him or discourage him one way or the other. We've been trying to be supportive."
