Let your streaming weekend be full of best actor contenders new and old, with a best spongey dude thrown in for fun.

Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount+ and morehave a plethora of fresh flicks to watch, including a bunch of theatrical releases available to watch at home. Best actor winner Brendan Fraser is back in heartwarming territory in a Japanese-set dramedy, while current Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke turns in one of his best performances as a Broadway legend. Then there's SpongeBob SquarePants, whose latest movie finds the iconic character venturing to the creepy Underworld with a dastardly phantom pirate. (Don't worry, parents. It's "Aargh!"-rated.)

'Blue Moon'

Judy Greer (with Marc Menchaca) plays a desperate and violent kidnapper in the thriller "Dead of Winter."

You're not prepared for Judy Greer as a murderous villain. Emma Thompson stars in the thriller as a grieving Minnesota widow who travels to a favorite ice fishing spot to spread her husband's ashes, runs afoul of a desperate, violent couple (Greer and Marc Menchaca) and tries to save the young woman (Laurel Marsden) they kidnapped.

'Eternity'

Miles Teller (center) finds himself in an afterlife love triangle with Elizabeth Olsen and Callum Turner in "Eternity."

After choking on a pretzel, Larry (Miles Teller) ends up in the afterlife and has to choose an eternity. He decides to wait for his wife of 65 years to show up. But when Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) gets there, she's also greeted by her first husband, Luke (Callum Turner), who's been waiting since he died in the Korean War in this tweak of the usual love-triangle rom-com.

Grace Glowicki stars as a woman hoping to get her memories back after a car accident in the horror movie "Honey Bunch."

There's a cool, stylish 1970s horror vibe to this thriller starring Grace Glowicki as a woman who undergoes an experimental treatment to get her memories back after a car accident with her husband (Ben Petrie). But some strange visions she has keys her into the much weirder stuff really happening.

'Joe's College Road Trip'
