PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the trailer and premiere date for Lara Spencer's new competition series, That Thrifting Show

PEOPLE got an exclusive first look at the trailer, above, for the new 12-episode series and can exclusively reveal it will premiere Thursday, March 19.
Hosted by theGood Morning Americaco-host and formerFlea Market Flipstar, the show will follow Spencer, a vintage design expert, as she presents two designer duos with identical rooms that they must decorate with the most unique vintage and thrift store items in order to win the competition.
In the trailer, Spencer kicks things off by describing the theme of the show: "It's literally a treasure hunt," she says with a smile.

"Welcome to the ultimate thrifting and design competition," she tells the participants, before explaining what they will be tasked with doing: "We have two identical rooms. You guys have two days and a $2,000 budget," she continues.
The video then cuts to the designers visiting various locations as Spener says in the background, "Thrift shops, flea markets... I don't care where you get these pieces."

One devoted duo is even seen diving into a dumpster to find their next hidden gem, prompting Spencer to peek over the edge and say, "Are you actually in the dumpster? I love this."

Viewers also catch a glimpse of the judges who will help critique each team's finds and designs, including Broadway starRobert Hartwell, interior designer Dani Klarić and TV host Preston Konrad.
"The clock is ticking," Spencer then exclaims as the clip cuts to the designers running to get their final touches in place.
As scenes of each smiling duo flash onto the screen, Spencer dramatically says in the background, "The winner of this competition is…" before the trailer comes to an end.

Spencer was first confirmed as host and executive producer for the new show in a Sept. 9press releasefrom Freeform. In the months after, she documented some moments from the series on social media, including abehind-the-scenes look at the show's seton the last day of filming.
Her new series comes more than six years after her HGTV showFlea Market Flipended in 2019 following 14 seasons.
That Thrifting Show with Lara Spencerpremieres Thursday, March 19 at 9 p.m. on Freeform. The first six episodes of the show will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
