Bill Belichick 'eyeing a return to NFL coaching next season' - after one previously secret team considered him for defensive coordinator role
Bill Belichick is currently sinking his teeth into a multitude of media roles, but the legendary ex-Patriots coach reportedly doesn't envision that being the case next year. The 72-year-old parted ways with New England after 24 seasons earlier this year, and is now contributing to the 'Pat McAfee Show' and ESPN's Monday Night Football 'Manningcast' after failing to land a head coaching job in the offseason. However, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Belichick wants to return to coaching in 2025, though he is expected to be 'choosy' as he mulls his next opportunity.
