Will Jacks acknowledged his fourth 50 in 10 one-day internationals was his best as he helped rescue England from a series defeat by Australia. The hosts were staring down the barrel at 11 for two but Jacks and stand-in captain Harry Brook dug in to inspire a 46-run win at Chester-le-Street. Brook scored a maiden ODI hundred and Surrey's Jacks hit 84 to reduce England's deficit to 2-1 with two matches to play.
